Ticketmaster Sport will provide ticketing technology solutions to the Club, starting with the launch of Season Memberships for the 2022/23 campaign. The agreement will also cover music and entertainment events held at Coventry Building Society Arena, meaning an improved, digitally led experience for all visitors to the stadium.
Wasps’ rugby and netball fans will be able to take advantage of a new, highly intuitive ticketing website with a frictionless digital ticketing experience, which will make it easier than ever to buy and receive tickets.
Leveraging Ticketmaster’s unrivalled database and support network, the marketing teams at both Wasps and Ticketmaster Sport will work together to create marketing strategies to engage current supporters, find new fans and boost ticket sales.
Wasps’ Chief Commercial Officer, Adam Benson, said: “Delivering the best experience possible for our supporters and all visitors to Coventry Building Society Arena is a key focus for the business.
“Having access to world-class technology allows us to offer fans a greatly improved ticket-purchasing journey and better functionality. This, coupled with a unique marketing proposition, makes Ticketmaster the ideal partner to drive us forward.”
Chris Gratton, Chief Operating Officer, Ticketmaster Sport commented: “We’re delighted to have agreed this new deal with Wasps and look forward to working with the team to evolve the partnership. Ticketmaster’s range of tech solutions including Ticketmaster’s 3D Virtual Venue, launching for Wasps soon, will elevate the experience for existing fans and our range of marketing support on offer will help to drive value by increasing reach, boosting data and growing revenue.”
